Zamy Steynovitz (1951-2000)
Zamy Steynovitz was born in Liegnitz, Poland in 1951. As a child, he won a national art prize, just before he moved to Israel in 1957. Zamy studied at the Art School, Tel Aviv, and at the Royal Academy of London and his images are reflections of his Jewish and Eastern European heritage.
