Brenda Hartill
Brenda Hartill was born in London and immigrated with her family to New Zealand in the late 1950’s. In New Zealand she completed an honours degree at Elam School of Fine Arts, Auckland University before returning to London to further study at Central School of Art and Design. Her major there was Theatrical Design. Hartill worked as a freelance designer in London theatre during the 1980’s.
For many years she has focused her are practice on painting and print making, exhibiting widely. Hartill lives in East Sussex in Southern England.
