Listing Details
New Plymouth born artist Michael Smither studied art in Auckland at the Elam School of Art. Whilst well known for his iconic NZ boulder-scapes, Michael spent a number of years focussing on musical theory and composition. He went on to apply harmonics to highly coloured paintings and screenprints which explore relationships between the harmonies and spectrums of colour musical scales.
