Barry Cleavin Dunedin born artist Barry Cleavin is regarded by many as New Zealand’s most important and influential printmaker. Internationally recognised as a master of the printmaking craft, his usually precise and often cryptic the images offer a commentary on the world and its inhabitants.Although he is one of NZ’s most collectable printmakers, his work remains very affordable – as a reflection of the spirit of printmaking having evolved centuries ago to bring art and ideas to a mass audience.
