Joanna Braithwaite (1962–)

Joanna Braithwaite (1962) was born in Halifax, England and came to New Zealand in 1965. She graduated with a BFA from the University of Canterbury in 1985. She now lives and works in Sydney, Australia. Braithwaite's work explores an interrelationship between humans and beast, adding anthropomorphic characteristics to her creatures and animals.
