Painter Gill Hay, ceramicist Tatyanna Meharry and photographer Abby Taylor have each created a series of new works to capture the quiet and often unseen aspects of everyday milieu. The artists borrow from the still life genre to curate hidden layers that use the found, collected and incidental to create imagined narratives from their own landscapes.
Abby Taylor
Self taught Christchurch chef and photographer Abby Taylor has been interpreting contemporary still life with her photography practice, from everyday objects she collects from her daily walk, or repurposing items from the recycling bin.
