Euan Mcleod (1956 -)
Euan Macleod was born in Christchurch, New Zealand in 1956. He gained a Diploma of Fine Arts from the Ilam School of Fine Arts, Canterbury University in 1979.
Euan Macleod is best known for his expressive landscapes in which his recurring 'lone' figures are embedded. The lone, anonymous figure both the artist's self-portrait and the "Everyman" or universal experience of emptiness, worthlessness and impotence.
