TILT (1973-) The union jack flag is made out of stylized bubble lettering from the lyrics of God Save the Queen by The Sex Pistols. TILT created several different versions of this work using different colours. This work is one of the smallest editions.
TILT was born in Toulouse, France in 1973 has travelled and exhibited widely around the world, including in New Zealand in 2005 at Disrupt Gallery, Auckland. His background is in graffiti art and the high impact shapes and strong colours in his works are indicative of this genre.
