Eana Blythe Jeans (1890 - 1969)
Watercolourist Jeans was born in Australia in 1890 and arrived in New Zealand four years later. She studied at the Dunedin School of Art, Barn Studio Dunedin and then went on to London and the Slade School in the early 1930s.
Her best known works are her bush scenes and sea scapes.
