Painter, ceramicist and sculptor Josie Martin is also a qualified Horticulturist and fellow of the Royal Institute of Horticulture. Her Akaroa home and studio is “The Giant’s House” situated in the historic French township of Akaroa, east of Christchurch, which is open to the public.
She has undertaken numerous residencies around the world.
Josie’s work is flamboyant and colourful, full of joie de vivre, a reflection of her vibrant personality.
