George Genet
1916 – 2005
George Genet studied at Canterbury College of Art for three years specialising in watercolour and oil painting, largely preferring to paint landscapes. Some self-portraits do exist.
He was twice awarded prizes from the Sir Henry Kelliher’s, Dawson Hallmark watercolour Art Competition.
Genet's works were chosen as gifts to present to foreign dignitaries including Lord Cobham, Henry Ford and The President of Burma.
