Jesse Hollobon (1860 - 1945)
Jesse Hollobon was born in Eastbourne, Sussex in 1860. The Hollobon family of 7 embarked on the clipper ship ‘Zealandia’ as assisted immigrants and arrived in Lyttelton on in 1870. Hollobon opened his own picture framing shop in Sydenham where he also sold artworks and artist materials.
