Katherine Bernhardt (1975 -)
Katherine Bernhardt is a contemporary American artist. Bright colour dominates her works and characters from pop culture, food and consumer goods are her inspiration. Her painting style is fluid and relates to contemporary graffiti art and American action painting.
Bernhardt completed a MFA from the School of Visual Arts, New York and had a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has exhibited internationally and her works are held in many collections. She also enjoys to collaborate with other artists and has been involved with serval New York fashion industry projects including W Magazine, Edun and Miss Sixty.
