Tom Kreisler (1938-2002) Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Tom Kreisler came to live in New Zealand in 1952 where he studied art at the University of Canterbury’s School of Fine Arts.
Kreisler moved to New Plymouth in the late 60s to teach art at New Plymouth Boys’ High School. Kreisler's work colourful and cartoonish, embracing the whimsy and aesthetic of Pop Art.
