Phil Price
Phil Price is a New Zealand artist best known for his large-scale kinetic sculptures. Price's work incorporates engineering and design in works inspired by the natural world. Price received a BFA degree in sculpture from the University of Canterbury School of Fine Arts.
Price lives in both Lyttelton and Melbourne and has large workshops where he creates the highly engineered kinetic sculpture works.
He is held in high regard internationally and has completed many large scale projects for international clients both private and public. These include Cytoplasm at Auckland viaduct basin, Tree of Life McClelland Gallery Victoria, Nucleus, Victoria and Aarhus, Denmark.
