Paul van den Bergh
1941 –
Born in the Netherlands Paul van den Bergh and his wife ceramist Margriet Windhausen immigrated to New Zealand in 1976.
Paul formally trained at the Municipal Academy of Fine Arts in Maastricht and the National Academy of Fine Arts in Amsterdam. For many years he lived in the outskirts of Timaru and taught at the Aoraki Polytechnic .Paul has exhibited widely in New Zealand and the Netherlands and his work is held in public and private collections in both countries .
He and Margriet have now retired to the Kapiti Coast.
