Barry Cleavin ONZM (1939-)

Dunedin born artist Barry Cleavin is regarded by many as New Zealand’s most important and influential printmaker. Internationally recognised as a master of the printmaking craft, his usually precise and often cryptic the images offer a commentary on the world and its inhabitants.

Although he is one of NZ’s most collectable printmakers, his work remains very affordable – as a reflection of the spirit of printmaking having evolved centuries ago to bring art and ideas to a mass audience.

Thomas Lance Rodney Wilson CNZM (1945-2013)

He served as director of a number of major New Zealand museums and art galleries, including the Christchurch Art Gallery, Auckland Art Gallery, New Zealand Maritime Museum and Auckland War Memorial Museum.

Wilson was also a governor of the Arts Foundation of New Zealand from 2002 to 2010.
