Polly Gilroy
Polly Gilroy graduated with a BFA with first class Honours from Massey University in 2017. She has exhibited widely in New Zealand since then including being a finalist in the Zonta Female Art Awards, Ashburton Art Gallery, in both 2020 and 2021.
Her work has been described as abstract minimalism which tests the boundaries of traditional painting. Her use of colour and the subtleties she achieves in the different hues used often create a stunning translucent feel to her work.
